Conor Anderson, a 31-year-old Colorado man who went missing during a work conference in Nashville, was found dead this week in a wooded area.

Anderson flew in Aug. 15 for a conference and, that night around 1 a.m., he flagged down two officers in East Nashville to report a run-in outside a bar.

Body camera footage shows Anderson telling the officers that men took $20 from him and threatened him. Officers pressed him on the account, and he declined to show a driver's license.

Officers urged him to take a rideshare to his hotel. He agreed, and no one heard from him again.

Metro Nashville police say there are no immediate indications of foul play and that the medical examiner will determine the cause of death. Anderson's employer, the insurance firm Marsh, called the loss devastating.

Colorado's single-family home prices rose in July while condo and townhome prices fell, the Colorado Association of Realtors reported.

Detached homes hit a median $592,845, up 1.3%, and sold in an average 53 days. Attached homes slipped 0.7% to $397,250 and sat 74 days, with pending contracts down 10.5%.

Realtors point to the costs that come on top of a mortgage: HOA dues, insurance premiums, and monthly carrying costs on attached units.

The mountain counties ran the other way. Condo and townhome sales climbed 11% in Eagle County and more than 40% in Grand and Routt counties.

Three Colorado ski areas landed on SnowBrains' ranking of the 10 longest lift-served vertical drops in North America.

Snowmass leads the Colorado entries at 4,406 feet from the top of its Cirque surface lift down to the base village, the biggest fully lift-served vertical in the country.

Telluride comes in at 3,790 feet of lift-served vertical, and Aspen Highlands at 3,635 feet before you count the hike into Highland Bowl.

No American resort touches the top of the list. Revelstoke in British Columbia runs 5,620 feet, and Blackcomb claims 5,283, close enough to call it a vertical mile.
