Article Icon 1Pair of CSX Train Crashes Hit Metro Atlanta

Metro Atlanta saw two CSX train collisions between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.

The first wreck happened Thursday in Fairburn along U.S. Highway 29 near Bishop Road, where a CSX train struck a tractor-trailer that had gotten stuck on the tracks, resulting in a fire and a closure of the highway.

The driver of the tractor-trailer managed to climb out before the train hit, escaping unharmed. Two people were aboard the train, and one of them suffered minor injuries.

Around 14 hours later, a collision between a semi-truck and a CSX train on Atlanta's westside erupted in flames, suspended MARTA service in the area, and left hundreds of Amazon packages dispersed along the tracks. No injuries were reported.

The driver of the semi-truck was not at the scene and hasn't been located as of Friday.

According to authorities, the charges against Harper stemmed from new evidence uncovered during the investigation.

Harper is currently serving a life sentence at the Jenkins Correctional Facility in Millen for a separate murder committed ten days after Hand’s death.

An investigation remains ongoing.

Article Icon 1Plans Revealed for New Arena in Macon

Macon-Bibb County has released plans for a new $350 million arena that would replace the aging Macon Coliseum built in 1968.

The 230,000-square-foot multipurpose facility will feature seating capacity for over 10,000 people, two parking decks, premium seating, a roughly 30,000-square-foot flex hall, and a Macon Sports Hall of Fame.

The facility is expected to open in late 2028 on the current Macon Coliseum site. The project is set to break ground next month and will be completed in phases to ensure the Macon Coliseum can continue to operate while the new facility is constructed.

Big Money Gets In Pre-IPO in AI

AI stocks now make up about 45% of the S&P 500. But the biggest breakout gains often happen because investors got in before companies went public.

In AI, big money increasingly moves sooner. In 2025, 67% of private-stage investments were in AI companies, up from 9% in 2022. But those opportunities are almost always reserved for the 1%.

Restaurant robotics pioneer Miso Robotics isn’t, and 44K+ everyday folks like you have already joined big money players like Ecolab as investors.

Miso’s Flippy Fry Station AI restaurant kitchen robot has logged 200K+ hours in kitchens across the $1T fast-food industry. Its tech is used by big-name customers like White Castle, Jersey Mike’s, Cinnabon, and more. And Miso just acquired 300+ patents from a food robotics early-mover that raised $450 million.

Flippy alone represents a $4B/year revenue opportunity in the US. Invest before Miso hits its $2.5M raise target for June. Hurry for bonus shares.
