Tropical Storm Isaias is forecast to become a hurricane and strike the northern Gulf Coast late this week, with the forecast cone stretching from eastern Louisiana to the western Panhandle. A hurricane watch runs from Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, to Indian Pass.

Forecasters expect rapid strengthening, with Isaias becoming a hurricane today and possibly reaching 110 mph by Friday, though it could weaken some before landfall. A storm surge watch stretches to Yankeetown, with 5 to 7 feet of surge possible along parts of the Mississippi, Alabama, and Panhandle coasts.

Gov. Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency in 25 counties, including the Panhandle and Big Bend, and state emergency managers moved to Level 1, a full-scale activation.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier asked a Pasco County judge on Wednesday to order Meta to remove users under 14 from Facebook and Instagram.

The injunction would also cap teens at two hours a day across Meta's apps, turn off autoplay and infinite scroll, cut off messaging once limits hit, and ban ads aimed at teens.

Florida declined to join a multibillion-dollar settlement Meta reached with most states in August. The state's filing calls that deal a "slap on the wrist" and argues it shows Meta can make the changes.

Florida wants the changes in place while its lawsuit plays out. Meta didn't immediately comment, but has said it works hard to keep teens safe and denied wrongdoing when it settled.

Federal agents seized about 500,000 gallons of biodiesel at Port Everglades that officials say was headed illegally to a sanctioned Cuban state fuel company. Another 19 shipments were stopped at the Port of Houston, bringing the total to 90 shipments worth nearly $3 million.

Officials announced the seizures on Wednesday in Sweetwater, saying the fuel was bound for Enetec S.A., a Havana-based wholesaler the Treasury Department sanctioned in July.

Customs officials flagged the cargo in early September after combing trade and intelligence data. No charges have been announced.

Kiss “The Battery Trap” Goodbye

In physics, the “Battery Trap” is well known. To make one last twice as long, it must be twice as big.

But a company named Infinity Fuel has already escaped that trap, finally providing critical industries like aerospace and defense with lightweight, long-range, reliable power.

And the demand speaks for itself. NASA signed a deal with Infinity to illuminate the Moon during 14-day lunar nights. The US Navy signed one with them to power underwater drones. Their tech was even involved with two separate Blue Origin launches.

In total, Infinity has earned more than $60M in past and current contracts. Now, as production scales to meet demand, they’re inviting you to own a piece.

Even better? If you invest by October 15, you’ll maximize your shares with 5% guaranteed bonus stock. Become an early-stage Infinity investor before this offer’s gone.

Deep Sea? Deep Space? Don’t Sweat

What do underwater drones and lunar equipment have in common? Both must operate without air or electrical outlets.

It’s why Infinity’s already secured $60M+ in past and current contracts from NASA, the US Navy, and more to supply that power.

Their fuel cells can keep these machines running in the toughest environments. And this isn’t theoretical. In March, an Infinity-powered underwater drone traveled 1,257 miles without surfacing, roughly the distance from Los Angeles to Dallas. That same design’s even logged 2,600+ hours for a NASA Moon Base power program.

Now, Infinity’s scaling from prototype to production. And through October 15, you can join them and unlock 5% in guaranteed bonus shares.
