Two people were found dead Monday at a crash site south of Boulder after dozens of crews searched for a plane last seen on radar near Eldorado Springs.

The single-engine plane took off from Longmont's Vance Brand Airport around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, and an alert about a possible downed aircraft came in at 9:42 p.m.

Officials did not immediately release where the private, single-engine aircraft was headed or details about its tail number.

Rescuers reached the site around noon and found no survivors. The NTSB will lead the investigation, and the Boulder County Coroner's Office is reviewing the cause and manner of death.

The Broncos fell 24-14 to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, dropping to 2-2 after a fourth-quarter Jaylen Waddle touchdown wasn't enough.

Starting cornerbacks Patrick Surtain II and Riley Moss were both ruled out after first-half injuries, forcing Denver to lean on backups for the rest of the game.

Surtain hurt his ankle without being contacted just before halftime, and coach Sean Payton said losing both corners takes the defense out of some packages.

Receiver Pat Bryant was carted off in the third quarter. He reportedly sprained his ankle and is expected to miss a few weeks.

Despite the setback, the Broncos are favored on the road this Sunday, when they'll face off against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Cadets and staff at the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) set a Guinness World Record on Oct. 2, with 3,703 people doing synchronized push-ups for one minute.

The new mark eclipsed the 3,068 participants recorded by the U.S. Naval Academy, and Brig. Gen. Brandon J. Tellez said the cadets answered Navy's challenge.

Under Guinness rules, participants had to lower themselves until their elbows bent to 90 degrees, then lock out at the top and repeat for 60 straight seconds.

The record came less than a day before Air Force hosted Navy, and the Falcons won 14-9 behind two rushing touchdowns from quarterback Liam Szarka.
