The State Board of Elections launched an online database of 103,000 people who were asked to add their driver's license number or the last four digits of their Social Security number to state records.

The database, a part of the Registration Repair Project, is an effort to resolve a lawsuit by the Justice Department. Most of the voters on the list have been registered since 2004 and haven't added any numerical information due to unclear requirements from the state.

The missing information was brought to national attention during the state Supreme Court election between Republican Jefferson Griffin and Democrat Allison Riggs. Riggs won by 734 votes after Griffin called ballots into question.

There are nearly 100,000 more voters who will be contacted later who lack a driver's license or Social Security information.
