Raleigh-Durham International Airport is working with a Texas developer to turn 136 acres of land in Morrisville into an entertainment and recreation complex.

RDU previously leased the land to Wake County for use as part of Lake Crabtree County Park's trail system at $1 per year, but ended the lease in 2025 to comply with Federal Aviation Administration requirements for airports receiving federal grants to lease land at fair market value.

In response, RDU sought proposals from developers and chose Pacific Elm Properties, which is currently partnering with the Carolina Hurricanes to redevelop the Lenovo Center's parking lots.

Renderings of the potential entertainment complex show outdoor recreational activities such as climbing, skating, and zip-lining, as well as lodging and event space.

A report released this month by the North Carolina Department of Commerce suggests recent college graduates—particularly those from the UNC System—face challenges finding work, despite widespread labor shortages and low unemployment rates nationwide.

Graduates who majored in business, engineering, and social sciences have experienced wage cuts, according to data from NC TOWER, which stands for Tool for Online Workforce and Education Reporting.

Computer and information science majors saw the largest post-graduation earnings drop, 22%, compared to a 4% average decline across all fields. Earnings for health-related majors rose 2%, driven by demand for health care from an aging population.

Economists debate wage and labor demand declines, citing economic cycles, AI-driven labor savings, or shifting views on college degrees. They're also unsure whether the trends reflect a temporary dip or a lasting shift in the job market.

Trump's Reset Can Give Birth To America's Greatest Era Yet

In 1933, Executive Order 6102 forced everyday Americans to hand over their gold at a fixed rate.

Citizens lost a sizable amount of their hard-earned wealth at the stroke of FDR's pen.

Now, 92 years later, President Trump has focused his energy on making things right.

His next move has the power to trigger a financial reset that could shift trillions of dollars into the hands of the people.

A provision buried in the U.S. Code Title 31, Section 5117 allows the U.S. Treasury to revalue America's gold reserves from an outdated $42 per ounce to today's market price.

That's a 72x increase!
