Sen. John Cornyn on Sunday declined to say whether he would support Trump-endorsed Ken Paxton if the Texas attorney general wins their upcoming GOP Senate runoff. Cornyn said he expects to win the nomination and called the question speculative.

Trump endorsed Paxton last week, praising him as a "true MAGA Warrior" while describing Cornyn as a "good man" who was late to back him.

The runoff has drawn comparisons to the primary defeats of Sen. Bill Cassidy and Rep. Thomas Massie, both of whom lost to Trump-backed challengers. Cornyn said his situation is different.

Election Day for the primary runoff is this Tuesday. The winner will face Democrat James Talarico in November.

Several hundred people walked a three-mile loop through Trinity Park in Fort Worth on Saturday as part of Carry the Load, a national event honoring fallen service members and first responders.

The event drew veterans, active military, police, firefighters, and community members. Fort Worth Police Chief Eddie Garcia delivered opening remarks. Boy and Girl Scouts lined the route with flags. Photos honoring Texas fallen heroes were displayed near the Fort Worth Police and Firefighters Memorial.

The event is held in nearly 75 cities nationwide, including 14 Texas locations. Event director Matt Fryman said, "There have been so many that have sacrificed so much for our country and for our freedoms. Memorial Day is a day to give to honor those that have died in the line of duty, in our military service, and for those families that have lost somebody. Memorial Day is every day for them."

The $10 Billion Tungsten Boom

The global tungsten market is surging toward $10 billion by 2030 for one simple reason: modern industry has no substitute for it. From the precision drills that build our cities to the high-heat engines that power our flight, tungsten is the indispensable "backbone" of global manufacturing.

With global prices recently surging 557% and U.S. inventory at a critical zero, the demand for a domestic source has reached a boiling point. It’s happening right as United States Tungsten is aiming to reestablish domestic tungsten to supply the 25-year growth cycle of American industry.

They’re already in supply talks with the U.S. Government. This is your opportunity to invest in United States Tungsten as they bring this critical resource back online.
