I am quite convinced that most startups that were created after the release of ChatGPT and raised significant funds just weeks after their inception will disappear.

There has been considerable FOMO among venture capital investors, which is typically what happens when a wave like VR emerges, for example.

Another reality to consider is that most AI use cases do not allow for the creation of new products.

However, the goal of a startup is to launch products capable of disrupting a market, and this is not something current AI startups are focused on.

Instead, they are transforming existing products by improving profitability, for instance by automating customer service, or by creating sophisticated systems to develop software more quickly with generative AI code.

That's why most AI startups end up making deals with corporations to help them in their transformation instead of launching a product.

In the end, only OpenAI has succeeded in launching a product, along with a few self-funded mobile app startups unknown to VCs that are doing very well.

This is why I focus on the stock market because the companies truly impacted so far are the already established ones.

The question to ask is which of these will successfully achieve their AI transformation.

The best current investment opportunities

The best current investment opportunities are not directly related to generative AI but are found in sectors such as healthcare.

One of my recent investments in a healthcare company is becoming one of my best investments, and my prediction for the coming months is very positive. There are other sectors that are also significantly impacted.
