Good Morning! On this day in 2025, Tropical Storm Chantal made landfall near Litchfield Beach, South Carolina, around 4 a.m. EDT, then moved into North Carolina. It produced 4 to 6 inches of rain along the coast—with parts of central North Carolina seeing over 10 inches—plus flash flooding, a confirmed tornado near Wilmington, and wind gusts up to 56 mph, causing significant impacts across the Carolinas.
